PAYMENT TERMS
To confirm an order, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed amount required. This payment will
secure your requested date and cake order. Orders are not secure without a deposit and cannot be guaranteed.
The outstanding balance for novelty/ celebration cakes is due no later than A WEEK before
collection.
The remaining balance for wedding cakes should be paid TWO WEEKS before due date.
Any alterations to the cake order after a price has been agreed might incur extra charges. Charges will be
adjusted according to the balance of the cake order.
Allergies & Special Diets:
It is your responsibility to make us aware of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements before
booking. We will do everything to accommodate this however our cakes are baked in a kitchen that uses;
Wheat, Gluten, Alcohol, Eggs, traces of nuts etc.
DELIVERY:
A delivery fee is quoted at the time of the cake order and included in the overall cost, this applies to wedding
cakes or cakes over 3 tiers. Celebration cakes are be collected from our cake shop.
CAKE COLLECTION
Our cakes can also be collected from US. Cakes are fragile and do not like to be moved, we recommend
transporting in the front passenger’s foot well, this is the flattest part of the car and will stop the cake moving
too much. Never put a cake on a seat. This may cause the cake to slide off the board, lean or topple over.
Cakes must not be put in the refrigerator; this will cause the icing to melt and may ruin your cake. Store your
cake in the box provided away from any direct heat or sunlight. We recommend eating your cake within 5
days when it is at its freshest and cupcakes within 48 hours.
Please note that If the cake is collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and
MIMITOYOUCAKES will not accept responsibility for any damage to the cake that may occur after it has
left our cake shop.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE
If you cancel your order for any reason up to one month before the requested date, the deposit will be
refunded by Bacs transfer. If the order is cancelled less than two weeks from the requested date, NO
REFUND will be issued.
Covid-19
Wedding cake deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If due to Covid-19 you are forced to change your date, then your deposit will be transferred to the
new date at our discretion. If you choose to cancel your wedding, then notification needs to be made
at least 1 month before and 50% of your deposit will be refunded.
